Dr Jenny Liu Dentist Of Happy Dentistry Melbourne CBD

Dr Jenny Liu is a gentle and dedicated dentist in Melbourne CBD who strives to make every dental visit a comfortable, stress-free and positive experience. She graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Science (Honours) from the University of Queensland and has since completed advanced training in Temporomandibular Joint Dysfunction (TMJ) and Sleep-Disturbed Breathing at the University Jaume I in Spain. Jenny is also a Fellow of the Australasian Sleep Association in Dental Sleep Medicine, reflecting her expertise in treating conditions such as bruxism and obstructive sleep apnoea with custom oral appliance therapy.

Jenny has worked in private practice across Melbourne before joining Happy Dentistry, where she provides comprehensive care for patients of all ages, including young children. She enjoys all aspects of general dentistry with a particular focus on preventive dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, and minimally invasive treatments. Her goal is to help patients achieve healthy, confident smiles and improve their overall wellbeing.

Jenny has undergone further training to offer Invisalign (clear aligners) for discreet orthodontic treatment, as well as muscle relaxant injections and dermal fillers to enhance smile aesthetics and restore facial harmony. Her holistic approach ensures each treatment plan is tailored to the patient’s individual needs and lifestyle.

In addition to her clinical practice, Jenny is passionate about dental education and is a Clinical Demonstrator at the University of Melbourne Dental School, where she mentors first-year dental students in foundational clinical skills and patient communication. She is committed to continuous learning and regularly undertakes professional development courses to remain at the forefront of modern dentistry.

Fluent in both English and Mandarin, Jenny is passionate about supporting Melbourne’s local Chinese community and ensuring patients from diverse backgrounds feel understood and well cared for. She is a proud affiliate member of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons (RACDS) and the Australian Dental Association (ADA).

Outside of dentistry, Jenny enjoys aerial yoga and spending time with her two Cavoodles, Colonel and Sanders.
