At Happy Dentistry, caring for smiles goes hand-in-hand with caring for the wellbeing of the people behind them.

We are proud to share that, under the leadership of our team member Troy, the Happy Dentistry team has successfully completed Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) training, equipping us with the skills to recognise and respond to signs of stress, anxiety, and other mental health challenges with greater confidence and compassion.

Through this training, our team is now better prepared to:

  • Provide initial support to individuals experiencing mental health challenges

  • Encourage open, respectful conversations about wellbeing

  • Contribute to a safe, supportive, and stigma-free environment for our colleagues and community

Troy’s dedication and passion for workplace wellbeing have been instrumental in this achievement. His initiative reflects our belief that looking after others begins with looking after ourselves.

To continue fostering a culture of mental health awareness and support, we plan to carry out this training annually, ensuring that our team remains equipped and confident in supporting each other and our community.

This milestone marks an important step in our journey towards becoming a Mental Health First Aid Accredited Workplace, and reaffirms our commitment to creating a healthier, happier environment for everyone who walks through our doors.
