News & Updates

Happy Dentistry has successfully completed the assessment conducted by QIP (Quality Innovation Performance) and has been awarded full accreditation under the National Safety and Quality Primary and Community Healthcare (NSQPCH) Standards.

The NSQPCH Standards are an important national quality framework within Australia’s healthcare system. They are designed to ensure that healthcare organisations meet consistent and rigorous national requirements in areas such as patient safety, clinical quality, risk management, infection control, and service governance.

Scope and Significance of the Accreditation

Based on the assessment findings, Happy Dentistry meets national requirements in the following areas:

  • Patient Safety Management: including risk assessment, emergency procedures, and safety culture development

  • Clinical Service Quality: provision of continuous dental care aligned with professional standards

  • Infection Prevention and Control: implementation of standardised sterilisation procedures and protective measures

  • Practice Management Systems: comprehensive policies, procedures, and ongoing improvement mechanisms

  • Patient Rights and Experience: adherence to informed consent, privacy protection, and patient involvement principles

Achieving full NSQPCH accreditation signifies that Happy Dentistry’s service systems meet nationally recognised benchmarks for healthcare quality. It also reflects the practice’s ongoing commitment to safety, quality improvement, and professional governance.

Ongoing Compliance and Improvement

As an accredited healthcare organisation, Happy Dentistry will continue to:

  • Implement practices and procedures required by the national standards

  • Maintain and update relevant policies, documentation, and clinical protocols

  • Conduct internal reviews and pursue continuous improvement

  • Undergo monitoring and re-accreditation as required

The accreditation is now formally in effect, and the official certificates will be displayed within the practice.
Happy Dentistry will continue to provide safe, reliable, and high-quality dental care in accordance with national standards.
